Shrimp Aglio e Olio in Cebuano kitchen

Cebu Food Blogger - This is my version of the famous Italian Pasta dish, the aglio e olio. This is one of the easiest to prepare with the simplest ingredients. However, it would require a bit of precision especially when sauteing garlic. Avoid burnt garlic on the pan. I also added sliced shrimps to give it some flavor.

If the spaghetti pasta is not available, we can use fettuccine, linguine, penne, rotini or even macaroni. Actually, any pasta we have at home will do. After all, we are making a very easy to cook Italian dish in our very Filipino home kitchen.

 My Shrimp aglio e olio

During the home quarantine period, I managed to have pasta as my meal at least once in a week. It makes me feel that I eat something new to my palate than eating a formal dish like with rice in my case. The aglio e olio dish is my excuse when I think I'm a bit lazy to cook a hearty meal at home. It is definitely my go-to quick pasta dish.
