Cebu Food Crawl Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa

3rd Day (third stop)

Cebu Food Blogger: We experienced a one-of-a-kind food tasting with Shangri-La through their Cowrie Cove.

Our dining table is all set for the bloggers food tasting (see below):

Wine glasses before us! At some point, we need to drink! Of course, alcohol it is!

And now we are ready for the blind tasting game here at Cowrie Cove, Shangri-la, Mactan. That's me!

 As a starter, we got cold soup out of beetroot gazpacho.

Before the beetroot sauce is poured to these oysters (see below):

We also needed an appetizer, this is called the Foie Gras "Cuba Libre". The ingredients are cola, lemon granite, brioche and rocket. 

And for our main course, we have the New Zealand Lamb Rack with pickled eggplant and cream, tomato seeds and miso foam. 

You don't call it a complete meal without desserts! We had strawberry ice cream and all the good stuff in it.
